Day 347-349 – December 13-15, 2021
Scriptures: Isaiah 3-13, Revelation 4-6, Psalm 93, 150

Christ is our wonderful counselor and mighty God.

Isaiah 9:6–7 (TNIV)
6For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
7Of the increase of his government and peace
there will be no end.
He will reign on David’s throne
and over his kingdom,
establishing and upholding it
with justice and righteousness
from that time on and forever.
The zeal of the Lord Almighty
will accomplish this.

Christ will bring peace on earth:

Isaiah 11:6–9 (TNIV)
6The wolf will live with the lamb,
the leopard will lie down with the goat,
the calf and the lion and the yearling together;
and a little child will lead them.
7The cow will feed with the bear,
their young will lie down together,
and the lion will eat straw like the ox.
8Infants will play near the hole of the cobra;
young children will put their hands into the viper’s nest.
9They will neither harm nor destroy
on all my holy mountain,
for the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the Lord
as the waters cover the sea.

Christ is worthy to open the scroll.

Revelation 5:4–5 (TNIV)
4I wept and wept because no one was found who was worthy to open the scroll or look inside. 5Then one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals.”

The Lion is the Lamb – the slain one who has risen!

Revelation 5:6 (TNIV)
6Then I saw a Lamb, looking as if it had been slain, standing in the center before the throne, encircled by the four living creatures and the elders. The Lamb had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth.

Let everything, all things worship the Lord.

Psalm 150:6 (TNIV)
6Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
Praise the Lord.
